WAS Design was commissioned to create a master plan for a cutting-edge facility to be constructed on the former Pine Island Golf Course, left vacant since Hurricane Georges in 1998. The plan features 476 RV spaces, 16 treehouses, 20 resort Airstream spots and multiple pools including a lazy river with a swim-up bar. The site will also house a restaurant, boardwalks, nature trails, observation decks, and boat slips with launches.
