Bellingrath Gardens and Home is an estate garden that was previously home to Waller and Bessi Bellingrath, which was opened to the public in 1932. As the gardens continued to grow over the years, mapping and documentation of the garden facilities fell behind with little no drawings of the estate. Recognizing this need, WAS Design was engaged by Todd Lasseigne, Executive Director of the gardens, to prepare an overall map of the gardens and all garden features with their relationships to each other. Drone flight data was used as the basis of preparing a map of existing conditions as a tool in the Master Planning of the gardens.
