WAS Design is working closely with WGK Engineers and the East Mississippi Community College team on two Transportation Alternatives Program funded projects. The projects consist of pedestrian corridor and sidewalk improvements at both the Scooba and Golden Triangle campuses. The corridors are planned to contain elements such as decorative brick paving, raised planters, seat walls, shade structures, concrete sidewalks, planting and irrigation enhancements, and pedestrian lighting. Once completed the projects will provide the campuses with a better sense of pedestrian connectivity, safety, and ADA accessibility.
