The 225-acre Escatawpa Hollow Park and Campground was a privately-owned recreation area located in west central Mobile County. Mobile County purchased the property in 2019 with the vision of redeveloping the facility into a major County Park offering nature based recreational facilities. WAS Design prepared a Master Plan to provide an overview and serves as a framework to guide the future growth and development of this County Park. Principal features include a conference center, nature trails, biking trails, canoe/kayak trails, swim/beach areas, picnic areas, playground, disc golf course, RV campgrounds, rental cabins, and group camping. The overall goal was to provide quality recreation opportunities that enhance the community and Mobile County.
