WAS Design was challenged to design our largest pool amenity to date. This hotel boasts a +12,000 square foot zero-entry pool with the longest lazy river ride of any hotel along Florida’s Emerald Coast, two water slides, plunge pool, spray jets and a 35 foot long water wall feature along with a separate party size hot tub. The two-story beach front bar with courtyard dining and fire pit tie this all together with an intricate paver design, wildlife friendly lighting, and lush landscaping. To meet our client’s own green initiative program, the irrigation system is designed using water smart irrigation principles, high-efficiency drip irrigation and utilizes the local utility’s new reclaimed water system. This hotel aspires to be the premier beachfront destination in Florida’s panhandle.
